Ruben Amorim is looking toward the summer transfer window with a shortlist of players already formed to strengthen his squad after a dismal season.
Manchester United are in 14th place in the Premier League with a clear vision that the squad needs significant improvements to compete next season.
As such The Red Devils are already on the verge of signing Matheus Cunha whilst also pursuing Liam Delap to reinforce their attack with proven Premier League strikers.
Alongside them it’s emerged that United are considering a move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah as a potential free agent this summer.
However, Napoli’s Stanislav Lobotka has also joined the shortlist to support a bolstering of the club’s midfield.
It was recently reported that United and PSG were emerging as front runners for the Slovakian midfielder who’s been key for Antonio Conte’s side.

Release clause revealed for Stanislav Lobotka
Now, Fabrizio Romano has added to the news, revealing that Lobotka has a release clause of around £21 million this summer with his contract in place until summer 2027.
It’s understood that Napoli are not currently considering his future, with the Italian club firmly focused on the Serie A title race.
However, this relatively cheap clause for someone of his calibre would be tempting for many clubs, although doesn’t appear to fit with INEOS recruitment strategy at Old Trafford.
This move would be akin to the transfer which saw Casemiro join the club, a 30-year-old defensive midfielder joining for a short-term fix.
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe took charge there’s been a clear push towards signing younger players, under the age of 26, with potential to either make an instant impact, or grow for the next class of Red Devils.
That said, there are growing reports of United’s interest in the Slovakia international, so we could see a move for Lobotka in the coming months.
