Manchester United are deep into preparations for what could be a defining summer under Ruben Amorim.
With a Europa League trophy still up for grabs and Champions League qualification on the line, the pressure at Carrington remains intense.
But while United’s focus is still on the season’s final fixtures, planning for the summer tour is already underway behind the scenes.
The Red Devils will face Leeds in Stockholm before flying to the United States for the Premier League Summer Series, where they will play matches against West Ham and Bournemouth.
That tour is now shaping up to be a huge opportunity for some of the club’s most promising academy stars.
According to the Manchester Evening News, conversations have begun between key staff at the club over which youngsters will make the trip.
Jason Wilcox, Darren Fletcher, Nick Cox, Travis Binnion, and Adam Lawrence are all actively discussing the next batch of talent ready to step up.

Fletcher in particular plays a vital role, acting as the bridge between the first-team and the academy.
With Ruben Amorim eager to implement a long-term vision centred around youth, the pre-season will serve as a crucial testing ground for several academy hopefuls.
Names such as Harry Amass, Chido Obi, and Tyler Fredricson have already tasted first-team action and could be included again.
Others including Jaydan Kamason, Jack Fletcher, Gabriele Biancheri, and Bendito Mantato have trained with the seniors this season and are also in contention.
The Leeds friendly will serve as the first platform for these players to impress before the squad for the US leg is finalised.
Those selected will supplement the senior group, giving Amorim a closer look at who could stay with the first team when the 2025/26 season kicks off.
The likes of Godwill Kukonki and James Scanlon are also being monitored as Amorim and his staff look to reward development and long-term potential.
Post-season friendlies aimed at generating revenue will also likely feature more young stars, as Amorim leans fully into his plan to inject fresh energy into United’s project.
