Manchester United are keen to revitalise their squad this coming summer after a dismal few years which have led to the club’s worst Premier League performance this season.
The Red Devils are setting up for Ruben Amorim’s first full season in charge, however, they have limited funds to assemble a squad of his choosing.
As such, United are desperate to make sales to generate funds for new signings, whilst also scouting cost-effective targets.
This summer United are set to lose Christian Eriksen at the end of his contract and despite his recent performances, are also expected to try and cash in on Casemiro.
To replace the pair, the club have been scouring Europe for alternatives, with one target firmly on their list for over a year.

Manchester United to launch bid for Ederson

Atlanta’s Ederson has been a key target for United since before last summer, with the Brazilian being a vital part of the Serie A squad.
However, the 25-year-old has refused to sign a renewal of his contract which is set to expire in 2027, giving rise to expectations of a summer transfer.
Now, TuttoMercatoWeb has reported that United are in pole position to sign the star with an “offer expected in coming weeks.”
The reality of this is unknown however with the Italian side wanting around £50 million for the midfielder, a considerable price tag for United given their financial pressures.
