Manchester United wantaway Jadon Sancho has spent the season on loan with Chelsea with the winger failing to impress at Stamford Bridge.
Sancho has registered two goals and nine assists in 31 games, including two assists in his most recent outing against Legia Warszawa in the Conference League’s Quarter-Final first leg.
Whilst Sancho has enjoyed life with the London-based club, it appears that Chelsea are no longer looking at continuing to buy him.
When Chelsea agreed the loan deal on last summer’s transfer deadline day, an obligatory buy clause of £25 million was included.
However, there’s been significant speculation recently that Enzo Maresca’s side will be paying the £5 million penalty to pull out of the deal and send him back to Old Trafford.

The future with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho
Now, The Daily Mail has reported that this is the likely outcome with Chelsea looking at alternatives to Sancho to boost their attack.
Already Chelsea have signed Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon, and are also looking at Real Betis star Jesus Rodriguez.
For Sancho, it looks as though the winger will be heading back to United who still have a section of his transfer fee to pay.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe explained that United are still paying off the £75 million transfer fee to Borussia Dortmund for his move back in 2021.
Now, United will be looking to sell the star again this summer, as he enters the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.
Sancho’s only potential to stay at United is if Ruben Amorim is determined to use him in his squad, with the United hierarchy set on offloading him.
However, with the club struggling to find any suitors to sign the star on a permanent deal last summer, this summer is unlikely to be any different.
