Manchester United youngster JJ Gabriel is certainly getting a lot of attention recently, and understandably.
Despite being only 14 years old, the striker was promoted to United’s Under-18s side back in October 2024, with his debut for the team expected to come before the end of the season.
However, for the time being, Gabriel is still putting in impressive displays for the Under-16s side, including this weekend.
Playing in the Floodlit Cup against Blackburn Rovers’ youth side, Gabriel suffered a “heavy collision” leading to a dislocated shoulder.
However, instead of coming off, the 14-year-old popped it back into place, and carried on going to grab a hat-trick and an assist, contributing to all four goals in United’s 4-0 win.
So, with performances like that, it’s no surprise that the youngster has several top European clubs knocking on his door.
It was recently reported that Europe’s elite like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are all monitoring the star, however they’re not the only ones wanting to grab his signature.

JJ Gabriel signs massive deal with Nike
The Daily Mail has revealed that as well as top clubs wanting to sign the talented youngster, so are some top sporting brands.
Last month Nike managed to land his signature amid a queue of sportswear giants hoping to capitalise on the boost to his social media following.
It’s understood that his contract with Nike is one of the most lucrative ever given to a player of his age.
His first deal with the company came as an Under-10s player, with Nike representatives following his career and development keenly.
Interestingly, United were keen for Gabriel to sign with kit sponsor Adidas, however Nike invited Gabriel as a guest of honour in their hospitality box at Anfield as local rivals Liverpool took on United back in January, ending in a 2-2 draw.
It’s understood that a key part of Nike’s pitch to land Gabriel’s signature was their belief that the “kid Messi” is on track to achieve the same success as Manchester United legend and multiple Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
A source close to the situation commented: “He’s going to end up like Ronaldo. Just goals, goals, goals.”
