The FA Cup could present Manchester United with one of the best chances to earn silverware this season.
United are set to take on Fulham at home today for a chance to make it to the quarter finals.
As current holders of the trophy, Ruben Amorim’s men will want to retain the trophy and become the first team since Arsenal a decade ago to win back to back FA Cups.
But first, they have to get past Fulham.
Fulham are currently enjoying a productive season.
Marco Silva’s men are in ninth position in the English Premier League and have shown a level of performance that has been missing from Manchester United.

So it’s not going to be easy.
What will also not help is the number of players unavailable to the head coach right now.
Patrick Dorgu is unavailable due to his red card against Ipswich Town.
That means it’s likely that Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui will play in the wing back roles.
The knock-on effect of that is it pretty much means Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt are likely to be needed to fit into the centre back position.
In the case of Maguire, he’s already missed a number of games due to injury this season and the Ruben Amorim may not be keen to risk his three main centre backs in this game.
There is also Victor Lindelof, who himself has only returned from injury, but could this provide Manchester United with an opportunity to bring in a fresh face into the lineup?
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ayden Heaven could be in line to make his debut for Manchester United against Fulham this afternoon.
Heaven, signed from Arsenal in the January transfer window, was signed with a view to being a first team squad member.
With that in mind, and with an eye on protecting his first choice central defenders for upcoming games, Ayden Heaven could get his first minutes as a Manchester United first team starter this afternoon.
And it would make sense.
With the end of the season coming up, games are only going to get more intense and more difficult as time goes on.
This could be a perfect game to bed the youngster in and get him to experience playing senior football at Old Trafford.
MUFC fans will be keen to see what the starting lineup will be when it’s confirmed around an hour before kick-off and will be excited to see the former Arsenal defender make his bow if selected by Ruben Amorim.
