Manchester United are enduring a difficult season under Ruben Amorim, currently sitting in the bottom half of the Premier League.
Struggles in front of goal and a lack of creativity have been major issues throughout the campaign.
United’s attacking woes saw them allow Antony to leave in January, with Real Betis signing him on loan for the rest of the season.
The move did not include a purchase option, but Betis chief executive Ramon Alarcon has not ruled out keeping the winger beyond the summer.
Antony who’s still only just 24, has made a promising start in Spain.

He scored his first goal for the club in only his second appearance, opening the scoring in Betis’ 3-2 defeat to Celta Vigo.
So far, he has played 72 minutes across two games, making a quick impact.
Signed by Erik ten Hag in September 2022, Antony fell out of favour at Old Trafford this season.
He failed to start a single Premier League match and featured just 14 times across all competitions before his exit.
With his United future uncertain, Betis are open to keeping him permanently.
Speaking to Cadena Ser’s Radio Sevilla, Ramon Alarcon said: “I think so.”
He continued: “The other day the CEO of United called me. We sent them all the moves and details of the player throughout the week so they can see that we are looking after their asset.
“There is very good chemistry with Manchester [United] and with the player. It is a possibility that he will continue next season, why not?”
United spent over £80 million to sign Antony from Ajax, handing him a five-year contract until 2027, with an option for an extra year.
He has made 96 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals.
Now, with his loan spell off to a strong start, Betis could look to make the move permanent in the summer.
