Manchester United are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements as Ruben Amorim looks to reshape his frontline ahead of next season.
The Red Devils have struggled in front of goal, scoring just 28 times in 24 league matches.
Rasmus Hojlund has found it difficult to consistently get into goalscoring positions.
Joshua Zirkzee has improved but is not viewed as a natural number nine.
United have been linked with several attacking players.
Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres and Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen emerging as possible striker targets.

However, Amorim is also keen to strengthen his squad with versatile attacking options who can operate as a number ten.
One player who has been consistently linked with a move to Old Trafford is Wolves’ Matheus Cunha.
The Brazilian forward is not an out-and-out striker but has a clinical edge, excellent link-up play.
As well as the ability to run in behind defences.
He showcased his quality against United on Boxing Day, scoring directly from a corner in a 2-0 win for Wolves.
Despite recently signing a new contract at Molineux, Spanish outlet AS reports that Cunha is still eager to leave in the summer.
The Spanish outlet claims that his release clause is lower than previously reported.
Release clause which currently stands at just over €70 million (£60 million).
This clause will come into effect from June and will remain unchanged.
That is even if Wolves are relegated to the Championship, though it could be negotiated.
The report describes the clause as a “bargain.”
Both United and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Cunha’s situation closely.
Although his new deal runs until 2029, AS suggests that his departure is “almost inevitable.”
The 25-year-old has been Wolves’ standout attacking player this season.
He has netted 12 goals and providing four assists in 25 matches.
Amorim is reportedly keen to bring him to United.
Matheus Cunha himself has previously admitted that being linked to the club is “gratifying.”
