Spanish media have delivered their verdict on Antony’s Real Betis debut after his loan move from Manchester United.
The Brazilian winger joined Betis for the remainder of the season after struggling at Old Trafford.
Signed for £81.3m in 2022, Antony failed to meet expectations in the Premier League.
After just 14 appearances this season, he secured a loan switch to La Liga in January.
On Sunday, the 24-year-old made his first appearance for Betis against Athletic Club.

Just 14 minutes into his debut, he played a key role in his side’s opening goal.
His shot was parried by goalkeeper Adrian, allowing Isco to tap in from close range.
Antony was substituted in the 72nd minute and applauded by the Betis faithful.
Spanish media were quick to react to his performance, with high praise for the winger.
Estadio Deportivo awarded him an 8/10 rating and called him “the best of the night.”
They wrote: “He created danger, caused Isco’s goal, and gave the Athletic defence a nightmare.”
Mundo Deportivo also hailed his display, calling him “incisive” on the right wing.
They added: “He made dangerous diagonal runs, one of which led to Isco’s goal.”
Marca echoed the praise, saying he showed “speed and quality” and was “directly involved” in the goal.
Real Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini was also pleased with Antony’s impact.
“I think it was a very positive debut,” he told reporters.
“He’s a quality player and was very involved, especially with the second goal.”
“He only arrived a few days ago, but I think he’s going to contribute a lot to us.”
Betis will return to La Liga action on February 8, facing Celta Vigo away.
United fans will be hoping Antony can build a good run of form at Betis, as he looks to revive his career.
