Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho has just decided on his club for the rest of the season.
The Argentine had a breakthrough season last year under Erik ten Hag, setting up as a promising asset to The Red Devils.
Throughout the season Garnacho grabbed ten goals and five assists in 50 games, including an incredible bicycle kick against Everton which won the Puskas Award for 2024.
However, with Ruben Amorim now in charge, his future is more unclear with there being no place for wingers as such in the new manager’s system.
Amorim favours a wing-back set-up, which would require Garnacho to change his game to include a more defensive element. The other option however is to become more central to play directly behind the striker.
However, with both Napoli and Juventus circling, looking for him to continue his brilliant form on the wing, the star needs to decide on his fate.
It’s understood that United don’t want to part ways with the 20-year-old, however, with Garnacho representing pure profit as a product of the academy, a deal for the star would give the club a much-needed financial boost.
Ultimately, the decision sits with Garnacho who is in contract until June 2028, but the Argentine has now hinted to his thoughts on the growing interest.

Alejandro Garnacho considers a move to Italy
The Independent has now reported that Garnacho is understood to be open to a potential move to Napoli.
Antonio Conte has identified the winger as a perfect replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger who is all set to join PSG.
Napoli are throwing out all the stops to sign the star and it appears to have worked.
With Scott McTominay already established in Conte’s squad, Garnacho has already been in contact with his former teammate in an attempt to lure the Argentine to Serie A.
Napoli’s sporting director Giovanni Manna has recently met with Garnacho’s agent, which appears to have gone positively.
Calciomercato have now added to this that he has already verbally agreed personal terms to a five-year deal of around £2.5 million.
All that’s left is an agreement between he clubs, with United holding fast on their £70 million price tag, significantly higher than Napoli’s £38 million bid.
However, with a verbal agreement in place with Garnacho, it’s expected this initial offer will form a basis for further negotiations to get their man.
