Amorim, when asked about Rashford’s future on Sunday, offered little clarity, saying only, “we’ll see.”
Interest from Premier League clubs has been limited, with West Ham previously assessing a potential deal.
Tottenham’s initial interest in Rashford was reported on CentreDevils, earlier last week.
However, talks for the attacker are now at an ‘informal stage’, according to Independent’s report.
Rashford’s £300,000-a-week wages present a major obstacle, as Spurs are unwilling to break their wage structure.
Any move would likely require United to subsidize a significant portion of Rashford’s salary, which is seen as unlikely.
