Marcus Rashford has rejected a fresh transfer offer from a club abroad.

His time at Manchester United appears to be drawing closer to an end.

The forward already made clear his desire for a “new challenge.”

The 27-year-old’s absence from United’s last six matches highlights the growing disconnect between Rashford and Ruben Amorim.

Amorim’s comments suggest the England international is not doing enough to earn his place.

“When I leave it’s going to be, ‘no hard feelings.’

“You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United.

“That’s me as a person,” Rashford told Henry Winter.

“If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse.

“I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person.

“When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.”

While Rashford’s future looks set to lie away from Old Trafford, his £325,000-a-week wages makes it difficult for suitors.

However, Rashford has since declined an offer that many would have deemed suitable for the Englishman.

Fabrizio Romano reported on his YouTube channel that Galatasaray submitted an offer to sign Rashford.

This was a deal proposed as a loan for the remainder of the season.

However, the forward rejected the opportunity.

Rashford is said to be holding out for a move to one of Europe’s top-five leagues, with AC Milan, and Juventus all showing interest in signing him.

Borussia Dortmund being the latest club in making their interest clear in Rashford.

Speaking after United’s defeat to Wolves on December 26, Amorim made it clear that Rashford’s lack of professionalism was keeping him out of the squad.

“It’s always the same reason it’s going to be,” Amorim said.

“We have to be the same professionals, I have to be the same guy winning or losing.

“Losing, I have to be stronger so I will continue with my idea until the end.”

When asked if Rashford had shown improvement after being left out, Amorim responded:

“If he is not here, you can make up your mind.”

As Rashford’s exile continues, the race for his signature is heating up.

His next move will depend on whether one of Europe’s elite clubs is willing to meet United’s demands.
