Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund has hit back at criticism faced on social media.
Hojlund has endured a tricky start to life since joining United under Erik ten Hag in 2023.
The striker has just 2 Premier League goals in 13 matches this season.
His performances have come under huge scrutiny from sections of the fanbase.
It has been tough for Danish forward, who has had to deal with on and off the pitch issues.

Hojlund took to Instagram to voice his displeasure over a post from a fan.
The fan was stating Hojlund was only able to join the club due to sharing the same agency as former United manager, ten Hag.
The post also included a heavy weight of criticism enquiring as to why Hojlund was signed.

Hojlund was quick to reply to the individual, stating he finds the post “disturbing”.
It hasn’t been a straightforward ride for Hojlund, who now looks to have lost faith from parts of the fanbase.
The 21-year-old netted 16 goals in 43 goals in the 2023/24 season.
However, the striker has since stumbled amidst the turbulence and chaos at United.
Much of which, can be put down to the instability.
Instability in managerial changes and in terms of imbalance across the squad.
Most noticeably, Hojlund has been criticised for his hold-up play and inability to create chances.
However Hojlund’s game can very much be put down to not having the service around him to produce.
The setup of Amorim’s 3-4-3 requires the two 10’s to be creating at a good rate for the striker.
Hojlund’s often had games where he’s not been fed more than two clear cut chances.
The pressure will always be on the Dane to produce the goods, considering the amount spent on the player.
Playing for a club of Manchester United’s stature will always bare weight, too.
But the connection between the fanbase and Hojlund seems to be looking bleaker by the day.
