Manchester United are routinely adding to their already exciting academy to ensure the future of the club is in safe hands.
With stars like Chido Obi-Martin, Sekou Kone and Samuel Lusale joining in the summer, the season started extremely promisingly.
So far the season has been impressive for United’s Under-18s side, having not lost a game so far. With a streak of 10 victories so far, United are sitting five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table with an impressive +42 goal difference.
Whilst James Scanlon and Gabriele Biancheri are currently top goal scorers with ten and eight goals, Tyler Fletcher is leading the assists with 5.
Since then, United have signed yet another talented youngster in the form of Emmanuel Ziro with MLS prodigy Nimfasha Berchimas also on trial with the club.
However, it’s another young United star that is generating a lot of interest right now, with Ethan Ennis looking set for a loan in January.
Playing for the Under-21s side, Ennis is a talented right-winger, having scored six goals and grabbed two assists in 12 games.
Now, Manchester Evening News has reported that several teams from the Championship and League One are keen to sign Ennis in the winter transfer window.
It’s understood that United are keen to consider offers for the youngster, however his potential development opportunities will be what clinches any deal, with United wanting to ensure game time for the winger.
