Ruben Amorim has been with his new club for less than a week but is already looking ahead to Manchester United’s future.
The Portuguese manager is tasked with fitting the current United squad into his 3-4-3 system. But with the winter transfer window just around the corner, the club are also planning moves for key targets to fit his playstyle.
Already a host of targets have been reported, including Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku, Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.
However, another target, who’s been on United’s radar for some time is still being tracked as a top priority.
TheBleacherReport, as reported by Football365, have reported that United are confident about signing Norwegian teenager Sverre Halseth Nypan.

Ruben Amorim looks to Sverre Halseth Nypan in January
The 17-year-old has been at the front of United’s recruitment plans since he was 14, with scouts being sent out to watch the star on more than one occasion.
Playing for Rosenborg in midfield, Nypan pulled off a showstopping performance in the pre-season tour against Erik ten Hag’s men, winning 1-0.
Nypan has already played 58 games for the Norwegian side, grabbing 12 goals and 11 assists from central midfield.
Now, United are happy that they’ll beat rivals Manchester City and Chelsea to his signature.
It’s understood that Nypan is being valued at around £10 million, however, the add-ons being requested could take it to £20 million.
If Nypan does join United under Ruben Amorim, he’ll be competing with Manuel Ugarte, Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount in the heart of the pitch.
