Manchester United have struck up a deal with sister club FC Lausanne-Sport to see three of their promising academy stars train with the Swiss side.
The Red Devils are INEOS’ third football club in their sporting portfolio after acquiring Lausanne-Sport in 2017 and OGC Nice in 2019.
Now, the Premier League side is looking to benefit from INEOS’ other investments by sending three of their talented teens to get first-team training experience in Europe.
United’s agreement with Lausanne is the first of its kind but an academy trip to Ratcliffe-owned OGC Nice was arranged earlier in the year and was considered a huge success.

Manchester United reward promising academy stars with trip to Lausanne-Sport
Manchester Evening News has reported that on Monday morning, Habeeb Ogunneye, Jack Kingdon and Ethan Williams headed to Switzerland to train with the Lausanne first squad.
The trio of 18-year-olds are progressing incredibly well in the academy, with this opportunity being a reward for their progress.
Whilst Lausanne is currently tenth in the twelve-team league, United are still hoping that the experience will be a positive one for their players’ development.
Ogunneye was included in United’s squad for seven Premier League games at the end of last season and has continued to be a key player for the Under-21s this time round.
Kingdon signed his first professional contract this summer, having previously trained with the first team at Carrington before United’s game against Bournemouth in April. He was vital for the Under-18s last season, regularly starting in central defence and captaining the team twice. Kingdon has moved up to represent the Under-21s this season and has started alongside Ogunneye in the Premier League 2.
Williams’ pre-agreed professional contract also began in the summer and has also been involved in first-team training. Williams grabbed 17 goals and nine assists in the academy last season and started alongside Kingdon in a highly talented Under-18 side managed by Adam Lawrence.
